Arkansauce!! At 9 Pm bring your dancing shoes!!!

Arkansauce is a genre-hopping, four piece string band from northwest Arkansas, bending the rules and blurring the lines between bluegrass, newgrass, folk, americana, country, blues, and funk. With a loyal following growing every day in the Natural State and along their tour routes, the band is proud to be stepping into a hard-driving sound unique to the Arkansas quartet.

The third album (If I Were You, released April 2017) of all original material finds the palate expanded with more complex melodies, intriguing rhythms, and hard-hitting hooks that leave the songs whirling around your head long after the listening experience.

The hard-working musicians are filling the calendar with upcoming appearances at premiere music festivals and venues in and around Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Mississippi, Colorado, New Mexico, and Missouri.

The band’s roots go back to 2011 when founding members Ethan Bush, Zac Archuleta, and Stephen Jolly began writing together after becoming acquainted through mutual connections in the close-knit Fayetteville music scene. After a couple of years building a repertoire of original music and releasing their first album (Hambone) as a trio, they were joined by Tom Andersen on the upright bass and Adams Collins on the five-string banjo. The road-tested chops Andersen and Collins brought to the table helped to cultivate the mature, well-rounded sound needed to accommodate their sophomore release “All Day Long.”

An Arkansauce show is riddled with improvisational guitar, banjo, and mandolin leads, paired with powerful harmonies and heart-felt songwriting, all held together by deep foot-stompin’ bass grooves. There’s an undeniably intimate connection between the band and their fans that’s contagious and leaves everyone in front of, and on the stage wanting more. Arkansauce holds their head high, as they look forward to enjoying everything life and music has in store for them and their fans.

March, 13th Von Stomper

March 12, 2015

Inspired by the lonely, the downtrodden, and the insane– the voices of Von Stomper, a Colorado based five piece, reach into the expansive lexicon of American roots music and make it howl. Their high energy live show has left boots tattered and dance floors torn time and time again.

Since August of 2013 Von Stomper has played over one hundred shows in thirteen states and counting – sharing the stage with acts such as The Dirty River Boys, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Swear & Shake, Uncle Lucious, Wood & Wire, The Yawpers, Local H and many more. With their self-titled debut studio album-recorded at UI Soundstudios – they continue to pave their way through America’s countrysides and city skylines.

“With vintage sound and modern swagger, Von Stomper excellently couples old-time folk Americana with some rock attitude and almost vaudevillian flair. The self-titled debut shows a new band that is already chiseling its name into the American songbook with a rootsy, bluesy style and a little bit of circus freak panache.”

Starting at 5 p.m.!!! and playing all night long!!
Like the band name, Soap’s music is undoubtedly fresh. With influences
ranging from jazz, blues and funk to progressive, psychedelic and
electronic, Soap skillfully fuses all of these genres into one – dance
infused rock. Imagine going to a double matinee showing of Led Zeppelin &
P-Funk at Dream Theatre and then heading to an Amsterdam discotheque to
dance until the sun came up. That’s about as close as can be described
without seeing Soap for yourself.

Originally from just south of Chicago, Illinois, Soap uprooted and moved to
Minneapolis in 2007 and has become a staple in the thriving Twin Cities
music scene. January of 2013 will mark two years of Soap’s weekly
residency at The Cabooze, a long-standing tradition at the legendary
Minneapolis venue. Following the likes of The Big Wu and God Johnson, Soap
has not only continued that tradition, but has expanded on it with a new
allegiance of fans. These strong Midwest ties have also helped the band
tour successfully throughout the region and beyond, notching over 120 shows
each of the past two years.

The band recently released their third full-length studio album, Piece by
Piece, in December of 2012 and will be touring in support of the album
throughout 2013.

Soap has become a favorite on the festival circuit, performing at 10,000
Lakes Festival (2 times), Summer Camp Music Festival, Wakarusa Music
Festival, Big Wu Family Reunion (2), Bella Music Festivals (4), Prairie
Grass Music Festival (2), Whippersnap Music Festival (2), Shoe Fest (2),
Wookiefoot’s Project Earth and Shangri-La (formerly Harvestfest), as well
as sharing the stage with notable acts and performers, such as Tea Leaf
Green, Zach Deputy, Bernie Worrell, The Motet, Hot Buttered Rum, Kinetix,
Jon Wayne & The Pain,
